We Go Beyond Partisan Politics.

We are Republicans, Democrats and Independents. Many of us have a lot of experience in local governement, some of us have none.
We are a coalition of Windham citizens who want to create change beyond the last 6 months, but for our whole term in office.

Charles L. Pennewill
Windham Board of Finance
I have lived in the Town of Windham for thirty one
years. I am a Veteran of the U.S. Army and
received an Honorable discharge in 1967. I have
been in the banking industry for over forty years.
Nine years were at the Savings Institute
headquartered in Willimantic. The last twenty three
years were spent at Liberty Bank headquartered in
Middletown Ct.
I served at State Treasure for the Connecticut
Jaycees in the mid seventy’s. I was also a local
Jaycee President in the Town of Cromwell. I was
Treasurer for the Windham Youth Organization for
eight years in the mid eighty’s. I served on a
National Users Group the last ten years while
working at Liberty Bank part of my term on this
board was spent as Treasurer, and President.
I am running for the Board of Finance because I feel
I have both the experience and knowledge to guide
the Town in its financial endeavors.

John L. Adamo
Windham Board of Education Candidate
I was born, raised and educated in Willimantic. I have
lived my life in Windham, with the exception of living
2 years in Manchester and 3 years in Rocky Hill. I was
educated in the Windham Public Schools and have
earned graduate and post graduate credits/degrees (BS
Degree, MA Degree and 6th Year Certificate) from
Eastern Connecticut State University, University of
Connecticut and North Carolina State University.
Windham Public Schools provided me with an
excellent education. My teaching experiences include 35
years in public schools (30 years in Windham Public
Schools) and 15 years serving as student teaching
supervisor/coordinator at Eastern Connecticut State
University. I retired from Windham schools in 1993 and
from ECSU in 2008. As a teacher in Windham, I
taught middle school language arts and served as grades
3-8 gifted/talented program coordinator, as well as
instructional consultant for grades 6-7-8 at Kramer
Middle School. In 1984, I was named Windham’s very
first “Teacher of the Year.”
I have served 3 terms (12 years) on the Windham Board
of Education where I hold the position of board
secretary. In addition, I am chair of the Program
Development
Committee. Corollary, as a member of the Windham
BOE, I have served 3 terms (12 years) as vice-chair of
the EASTCONN Executive Board of Directors.
I am seeking a fourth term on the Windham Board of
Education. The Bottom Line Party is the right choice
for me because I am an educator, not a politician. My
life has been dedicated to education. My classroom is
wherever and I go and wherever I am. I do not believe
that partisan politics should determine education
policies.
Although I am retired, I live an active retired life, which
includes a part time position working for a travel
company as a travel consultant, as well as hotel and
restaurant evaluator for student travel groups.
Erika Haynes
Windham Town Council
I have lived in town for over16 years. My
activities in town currently include being a board
member for the Windham Parent Network and a
planning committee member for Town Pride,
Town Wide. Additionally, I have been a
volunteer for WAIM and a member of the Chamber
of Commerce.
I am running for town council because I want to
make Willimantic a better place, and I believe I
can do that. I believe that the residents are not
being heard, and that people need a common sense
voice that excludes party politics.
I have chosen to run with The Bottom Line
because it is a group of people with a shared vision
of omitting politics from the work of improving
the town. I am impressed by the diversity and the
respect for differing opinions that The Bottom Line
fosters.
Lindsey Hepple
I have been a resident of Willimantic since May of 2008
and I have taught at Windham High School since 2007.
I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2005
and I completed my graduate coursework at Eastern
Connecticut State University. In addition to teaching
Social Science, this is also my third year serving as
Windham High School's Yearbook Advisor and I am a
strong supporter of various community initiatives to
promote education. I love living in such a historic and
vibrant community and I want to help make
Willimantic an even more fantastic place in which to
live and work. I am a conscientious and hard-working
individual and I am excited about the opportunity to run
with the Bottom Line.

Teresa (Teri) Santucci
Town Council Willimantic Service
District, 2 year
I have lived in Willimantic for 30 years. In that
time, I have served on the Planning Commission,
the board of Thread City Development, the board
of the Willimantic Victorian Neighborhood
Association, the Ad Hoc Noise Ordinance
Committee, the Ad Hoc Senior Center
Committee, , the organizing committee for
Victorian Days, and I am a member of the
Willimantic Lion’s Club.
After raising my 2 daughters, I became a real
estate agent. I then went back to school for a
degree in computer programming. Being a
business person at heart, I chose to pursue the
marketing aspects of the computer industry. I
worked my way up from a computer marketing
associate to the manager of a computer center. My
husband, Dr. Santucci, asked me to come back
and manage his optometric practice, Vision
Eyehealth Center . I did this successfully until
2004 when we retired.
There are a number of quality-of-life issues that
must be addressed. Our town has wonderful
potential as a tourist destination with our
museums, galleries, rivers and wonderful
Victorian homes. We must find a way to
capitalize on that and to revitalize our town and
therefore its tax base.
The town should be run like the multi-million
dollar business that it is. As someone who has
been in business all my life, I bring that lifetime
of experience with me to the Council.
Having that business experience, I understand the
importance of doing my homework – ahead of
time.
I dislike the petty bickering that goes on because
of political party. Decisions should be made based
on what is good for the town not some political
ideology.
